Dates: August 14-20, 2016

We invite you to join us in the vast beauty of the Montana wilderness, as we explore our Lightness of Being at Blacktail Ranch, in Wolf Creek Montana!

Come relax with us amidst birds chirping, horses grazing, a brook babbling and trees swaying in the breezy Montana mountains at an 8,000 acre ranch nestled at the foot of the Continental Divide. With nature’s wildlife as our holding environment, our souls are able to hear our intrinsic wisdom with clarity. It is from this space that we intend to explore the unknown while invoking our lightness of being under the guidance of the Starlight Herd. Oftentimes, in the midst of “doing” life, we are distracted by life’s complexities and try to figure out our next moves without accessing our intrinsic wisdom as a source of guided inquiry.

In this retreat, we will reconnect with our intrinsic wisdom through the ways of the horse. Horses possess a natural ability to access their inner wisdom and organically to reflect our inner selves when in their presence, due to the firing of mirror neurons in the brain. They are masters of authenticity and lightness, and we will have the privilege and pleasure of observing and interacting with them while they graze in their natural pastoral habitat.

Our week together, consisting of seven days and six nights, which includes arrival and departure days will include: Meditation, journaling, daily ground activities with the Starlight Herd, three mounted trail rides, shamanic journeying, daily gatherings in the sacred Hogan space, intuitive sensing and learning to live simultaneously in the practical and the mystical worlds.

Fee: $2,595 is the base price of the retreat.

The fee is reduced to $2,495 if registration and $500 deposit is received by April 1, 2016. After April 1st, the fee is $2,595. This includes a double occupancy room in the lodge, shared bathroom, all meals, use of the hot tub, and all planned activities including ground and mounted activities with horses. If you wish to have different lodging the following prices are applicable:

Add $215 to base price for a private, single room in the Lodge, shared bathroom

Add $275 to base price for double occupancy Cabin

Add $425 to base price for single occupancy Cabin

Subtract $150 for a double wall tent.

Subtract $50 for a single wall tent. (For all wall tent residency, usage of bathrooms and showers are in the lodge).

Deposit: A deposit of $500 is required to hold your reservation; the balance of the fee is due no later than June 15th. Deposits are refundable except for a $200 handling fee up until June 15th; after June 15th there will be no refunds unless someone else takes your place, in which case you will receive a full refund except for the $200 handling fee. All payments are requested in check or cashier check form. THIS RETREAT IS LIMITED TO 10 PARTICIPANTS, SO REGISTER EARLY!

Additional Information:

As time draws closer to the retreat (likely in June), I will send you a recommended pack list and some reflective questions that will assist you in readying for this sacred journey. No horse experience is necessary for participating in this retreat; however, recognition of the sentience of animals and nature as our teachers will allow you to relax more easily into the flow of invoking lightness while amidst the unknown.

If you are flying, Great Falls, MT is the nearest airport, and you can be picked up for ground transport to Blacktail Ranch by their staff for $100 round trip, or you can rent a car and drive to the ranch, which is about 1.5 hours from the airport. The shuttle fee of $100 is due on date of arrival and payable to the driver.

So, I hope that in reading this description your curiosity has been awakened in a heartfelt way. Perhaps inviting a tingling sensation, a tear or a smile, and/or a longing that has been waiting for an opportunity to be explored while amongst likeminded souls. In the meantime, the Starlight Herd awaits…

Wishing you every blessing,
